In October ShowFX helped bring together a massive special effects display for two of the world’s hottest music acts - Chris Brown & Rihanna. Encompassing 12 shows across 3 countries, the crowds were bought to their knees with an energetic and entertaining show featuring performances of their hit songs, Wall To Wall, With You, Run It and Disturbia, Take A Bow and Shut Up & Drive; respectively.
With more multi-platinum albums, MTV awards and Grammy awards than you could shake a stick at, the collaboration between the two ensured one hell of a night for the 15,000+ audiences!
Opening the show in a shower of sparks was Chris Brown as he paid homage to Michael Jackson with a medley of hits and a Thriller dance rendition. If the crescendo of screams were anything to go by - he had the audience at their feet. Hit song after hit song saw the polished performer display incredible showmanship and real ebility to engage the audience whether it be through his emotive lyrics or impromptu dance routines.
Not to be outdone by her counterpart, Rihanna then took the stage in a burst of flames, bringing down the house with her worldwide smash hits. In costumes that would make Cher blush, Rihanna rocked the stage with her full band and entourage in tow. Top top off a unforgettable peformance, and with the backdrop of a sensational pyrotechnic waterfall Chris Brown joined Rihanna onstage for their final song, a duet of her hit song Umbrella.
ShowFX used this tour as an opportunity to display the vast and different pyrotechnic and special effects we have in our repertoire. You name it - we had it, anything from our Dragon flames to Moving Co2 Jets. Not to mention the 7 different pyrotechnic effects from anywhere up to 30 positions. There’s no doubt this dynamic duo went all out to impress their fans.
